In January, 2009, Andrew was arrested for holding a plant in his hand. He told government people and the media in advance that he would hold a bud of marijuana in his hand in public to demonstrate the violence inherent in the "war on drugs." Andrew not only did not ingest that marijuana, but does not ingest marijuana as a rule in his life. |

On October 26, 2008, at the Keene Freedom Fest, Dave Ridley was awarded his Brass Balls for his past activism, including standing up to police and judges and being jailed for handing out leaflets. |
| Sam Dodson earns his balls |
On June 9, Sam was ejected from jail after 57 days for video recording in a public courthouse lobby. He was on hunger strike in the jail for over a month, never signed their papers, and did not cooperate with any of the demands of government people that were outside the bounds of their laws. |
