While being searched to enter the public courtroom for the arraignment of Dave Ridley, which Kurt recognizes as an unconstitutional search, Sam Dodson was arrested and shoved by cops in a room and Kurt and others heard Sam screaming. Wanting to know what was happening to Sam, the court security officer let Kurt into the room but 3 officers were carrying Sam into another room and Eliezer Rivera, the cop prosecutor, kicked the door shut so Kurt couldn't see in. Standing in the lobby, talking with Richard, deciding what to do next to learn about Sam's condition, Eliezer started handing out summonses *and* the cops arrested Kurt and took him to the cop station. Kurt spoke with Chris, the cop who drove him to the police station, who said he was "just doing my job." Kurt is still contemplating how to deal with his summons. When released from the cop station, Kurt thanked the cops for "playing our little game."
