In New London, Connecticut, Lauren helped protest against eminent domain. One thing she did was park her car in such a way as to block the utility companies from turning off the utilities of the properties stolen by the government. Lauren also refused to move her car when the gas company called the police and the police asked her to move it. Apparently, she was parked legally because the utility companies did not post a construction warning sign, but I assume that the legality of the parking job was not Lauren's concern.
